5 Brand Cafes in Seoul

If you are a regular at hipster cafes, Seoul would be your kind of heaven. The modern metropolis is brimming with cafes of different themes!

In this post, I consolidated some cafes there that are inspired by brands or characters. And yes, obviously the world’s favorite cat Hello Kitty is also in the list.

#1: Cath’s Cafe

Fans of Cath Kidston‘s feminine floral prints would squeal in delight when they step into this cafe, which is along the Bukchon Walking Tour route. Quirky cottage furnishings and kitchenware are all from the popular lifestyle brand. You can purchase merchandise in the cafe, followed by a relaxed high tea – served in Cath’s Kidson plates and teacups no less. Totally instagram-worthy, agree?

#2 Innisfree Jeju House

We are familiar with Innifree, a beauty brand owned by AmorePacific here in Singapore. After all, Lee Min Ho is their brand ambassador! The brand cafe is housed at the upper stories of the store at Samcheondong. The theme of the cafe is all about beauty and wellness, using natural ingredients, mostly sourced from Jeju.

#3 Hello Kitty Cafe

Hello Kitty Cafe is a chain in Korea, with 3 outlets in Seoul and 1 in Jeju Island. First of all, the “Kitty Cottage” is splashed in a saccharine shade of pink. Couches are shaped like the face of Kitty. Lattes are served with Kitty’s face on the latte art, and waffles and pastries are in “Kitty shape” as well.

So, you get the drift! According to online reviews, the food are not spectacular but it’s a cute place where you could take loads of pictures.

Fans of the chat app by Naver and their emoji/stickers would not miss this merchandise store cum cafe. You could get plush toys, stationery, kitchenware – all with the images of Line Friends Brown, Cony, Sally etc.

The cafe serves desserts with adorable shapes of their characters. Too cute to be eaten, literally.

#5: O ‘Sulloc Tea House

O’Sulloc is a popular tea brand in Korea, also owned by AmorePacific. Their green tea is sourced from Jeju Island. There are a number of O’Sulloc cafes in Seoul at various prime locations such as Myeongdong, Apujeong, Insadong etc.

You could purchase a wide variety of O’Sulloc tea merchandises at the tea house, or indulge in some green tea desserts and beverages. I love their green tea latte and the waffle which is embedded with sticky rice cake.
