#ThrowbackThursday #1: Terrorizing the Penguins at Betty’s Bay

#ThrowbackThursday shall be a series featuring past Instagram shots of my trips. It’s always great to reminisce the good times…

Also, allow me do a shameless plug. Please follow me on Instagram @thetlistnet if you haven’t, I promise to share more travel pictures over there!

I saw a school of penguins on the loose at Stony Point of Betty’s Bay (Western Cape of South Africa) and tried to get closer to them. As expected, all of them fluttered away, save for this little one.

The wind was strong by the bay and I think I was struggling to keep my mane in place while “guiding” the penguin to come nearer to me for a photo together.

Obviously I failed terribly as a penguin whisperer. But thanks to the quick response of my travel companion, this shot was captured.
