This is the 3rd post of the #ThrowbackThursday series featuring past Instagram shots.
It’s the beginning of a new year and I feel that I am already swimming in deep waters.
Which reminded me of the day I got off the boat at Palea Kameni islet in Santorini to attempt to swim in the volcanic hot spring. I gingerly swam away from the ladder of the boat but immediately felt that I was sinking! I frantically moved back towards the boat and clung on to the steps, unwilling to let go.
So, that was a recap of my misadventure swimming in open waters. Nope, it wasn’t as carefree as I had depicted in the Instagram shot but I think I probably need to learn to float again.
